deverellsmith expands UK presence with new Midlands office in Solihull

 deverellsmith has opened a new regional office in Solihull, marking a significant expansion of its UK operations and commitment to serving clients across the Midlands and wider regions. 

The new office, located at Central Boulevard Birmingham, Blythe Valley Park, Solihull B90 8AG, will be headed by Aaron Higgins, deverellsmith's National Head of Development and Construction. 

Strategic regional expansion 

The move reflects growing client demand for specialist property recruitment expertise outside London, particularly across the development, construction and housebuilding sectors where regional activity continues to strengthen. 

Recent data from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government highlights the scale of opportunity in the region. The West Midlands delivered 20,730 new homes in 2024-25, with a further 13,600 completions recorded between April 2025 and January 2026. Combined with the East Midlands' 21,610 completions in 2024-25, the wider Midlands region accounts for over 42,000 new homes annually, representing more than a fifth of England's total housing output. 

Blythe Valley Park's strategic location offers excellent connectivity to Birmingham, Coventry and the wider West Midlands, positioning deverellsmith to better serve existing clients while developing new relationships across the region.
