EG Awards Finalist

EG Awards Finalist

EG has announced its shortlist for the Superhero Award (team/company) and we’re thrilled to share with our peers, partners and supporters that Do Some Good has been shortlisted.

EG launched this special award in May – the winner of which will be revealed at the EG Awards later this month – set out to identify those individuals and companies that went above and beyond during the coronavirus pandemic to help those that really needed support.

We couldn’t have achieved this without the backing of our network and those who volunteered as well as individuals and companies that donated space, resources and funding to the initiative. We’re incredibly proud to be part of an industry with such a strong and united community.

On behalf of everyone at Do Some Good and every vulnerable and at-risk individual that we helped during such turbulent times, thank you for your support.

Many congratulations to all who have made to the shortlist and we look forward to celebrating with you all on the 29th October.

About Do Some Good

Do Some Good is a property industry initiative founded by Debra Yudolph and led by businesses from across the sector including SAY, deverellsmith and Greystar. Our mission is to facilitate the connection between those that need help and those that want to help, be it volunteering, skills or space.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, our efforts were focused on helping support the NHS and other at-risk groups with space for accommodation, parking, storage of goods, as well as with donations of PPE, supplies, food, and other services.

As a result of the Do Some Good initiative, 108 Real Estate firms came together, delivering a wide variety of support such as providing domestic abuse victims with safe shelter, veteran’s and key workers on the frontline with space to self-isolate, PPE manufacturers with warehouse space, a beigel run which distributed food supplies to homeless shelters across the capital and many more successes.
