Office Manager / PA - EastHaus

Office Manager / PA - EastHaus

What was the company?

EastHaus was born out of a desire to see Estate Agency done properly. The quality of property in East London has improved dramatically over recent years, however the quality of service from local agents has not necessarily kept pace with that progress... until now. EastHaus believe in a transparent approach to agency; their fees are clear and competitive and above all, they put their clients first.

What was the situation?

Anna was tasked with finding an Office Manager/PA for a start-up estate agency with the plan to grow and move offices. The estate agency is owned by a couple who came from big firms in their previous work. The couple needed someone who could do a little bit of everything, as well as someone reliable, so they could focus on going out and winning new business.

What was the challenges?

One of the biggest challenges faced was trying to find the ideal candidate in the middle of a pandemic as well as someone who wanted to do such a varied role in a start-up budget.

As the candidate had such a wide variety of responsibilities, they needed to have experience in different fields such as property, tenancy progression, sales, admin etc.

What was the methodology?

For Anna to successfully fill the role she used job boards and networked through platforms such as LinkedIn. Using this Anna was able to shortlist 6 candidates and get all 6 an interview then 1 was finally offered the role. This was done within the timeframe of 3 weeks which was allotted by the client.

What was the outcome?

Anna received the offer from the client for the candidate handled the offer process quickly. The process went smoothly and she was able to place a candidate which made both the client and candidate very happy.
