The job of a property administrator is typically varied and requires managing multiple tasks at the same time. As a key member of the property management team you will have responsibility for coordinating building repairs and maintenance work, producing reports and generally ensuring that projects are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard.

You will have to be organised, resourceful and confident, as often you will be dealing with tenants or managing contractors while coordinating and juggling various projects concurrently. Gathering quotes, conducting price comparisons and organising planning applications for different properties are also all in a day’s work as a property administrator.

In addition, you will often be expected to handle and adhere to budgets and give regular feedback to the project manager on key developments. Being able to think on your feet and have good problem-solving skills are a big advantage for this role.
