Your main duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Asset Performance & Value Creation
- Support the execution of asset-level business plans across operational and development assets
- Analyse leasing, pricing and operational performance against underwriting and KPIs
- Identify and implement initiatives to enhance NOI, occupancy, rental growth and asset value
- Work closely with Property Managers to drive on-site performance and accountability
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Produce high-quality investor and internal reporting, including performance analysis and clear management commentary
- Track key KPIs (occupancy, leasing velocity, rent levels, cost lines) and highlight risks and opportunities
- Support lender reporting requirements and valuation processes
Budgeting & Business Planning
- Lead preparation of annual budgets and reforecasts in collaboration with operational teams
- Monitor performance against budget, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions
- Contribute to longer-term asset strategies
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including investors, lenders, valuers and operating partners
- Coordinate across internal functions (development, operations, finance) to ensure aligned execution of asset strategies
ESG & Compliance
- Support delivery of ESG strategy across the portfolio
- Lead or contribute to submissions for GRESB, BREEAM and other relevant accreditations
- Ensure assets are operating in line with evolving regulatory requirements
Supplier & Contract Management
- Oversee key third-party contracts, ensuring delivery against agreed KPIs and budgets
- Support procurement processes and drive value through supplier negotiations
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Monitor market trends, competitor performance and macro drivers
- Translate insights into actionable strategies to enhance portfolio performance
Candidate Attributes
- 2-4 years' experience within real estate asset management, investment or a related field
- Strong financial and analytical capability, with advanced Excel proficiency
- Experience producing investor-level reporting and financial analysis
- Commercial mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategy
- Strong understanding of real estate fundamentals (NOI, IRR, valuation drivers)
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
- Confident communicator, capable of engaging with both internal teams and external stakeholders
- Experience in BTR, residential or operational real estate preferred
- Exposure to financial modelling advantageous but not essential
