Shared Ownership Sales Executive (Resales & Staircasing)
South East London (Hybrid - 2 days office / 3 days home)
- £36,000 - £41,000
- Car allowance included
- 12-month FTC (with strong potential to become permanent)
- ASAP start
The Opportunity
We're working with a well-established South London Housing Association with a strong reputation in Shared Ownership delivery.
They are looking for an experienced Shared Ownership Sales / Sales Progression professional to take full ownership of an established and consistently active resales and staircasing pipeline.
This is a true end-to-end transaction role, where you will manage cases from initial enquiry through to legal completion, ensuring smooth progression across all stages of the process.
You will not be "supporting" deals; you will own your own caseload and be trusted to run it independently.
Why this role is different
This is an ideal move for someone who already understands Shared Ownership and wants:
- Ownership of a live, active pipeline (not cold or fragmented caseloads)
- A structured but autonomous working environment
- A team that understands the complexity of resales and staircasing
- A role where your experience directly improves speed, accuracy, and outcomes
- A stable housing association environment with clear processes and support
This is a detail-driven role for someone who takes pride in seeing transactions through properly.
The Role
You will:
- Take full ownership of Shared Ownership resales and staircasing cases end-to-end
- Progress transactions from enquiry through to legal completion
- Coordinate solicitors, leaseholders, lenders, valuers, and internal teams
- Manage a steady pipeline of live transactions with competing deadlines
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and clear communication at every stage
- Support occasional listings or viewings where required
What we're looking for
You will likely have:
- Direct experience in Shared Ownership resales and/or staircasing (essential)
- Strong background in sales progression, conveyancing, or housing association operations
- Confidence managing your own caseload independently from start to finish
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple parties
- A calm, structured approach to managing live transactions
This role suits someone who already knows the process; and wants to own it properly rather than just assist with it.
Working setup
- Hybrid: 2 days per week in Sydenham office, 3 days remote
- Structured onboarding and established systems in place
- Supportive, experienced team environment
- Clear expectations and autonomy over your own workload
Package & Benefits
- £36,000 - £41,000 depending on experience
- Included car allowance
- 26 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Private medical cover (after 6 months)
- 12-month FTC with strong potential for extension or permanency
Why people join this team
Because they want a role where:
- You can take real ownership of transactions
- Your experience is valued, not micro-managed
- You're working within a stable, established housing association
- You can see cases through properly, end-to-end, with accountability and support
