- Keep communal areas and apartments in good repair, including seasonal external upkeep
- Assist with refurbishment projects and HVAC maintenance (e.g. filter checks, diagnostics)
- Monitor and supervise contractors to ensure quality and compliance
Routine Checks & Site Duties
- Inspect plant equipment, fire escapes, emergency lights, and security features
- Secure restricted areas (risers, stores, cupboards) daily
- Maintain clean bin stores and clear litter around the property
- Record temperature checks and perform weekly/monthly compliance routines
- Escalate faults and support the Assistant Manager with daily tasks
Facilities Support & Compliance
- Coordinate appointments with residents and contractors; respond to email requests
- Maintain digital task logs and inspection records
- Conduct compliance checks and upload reports to internal systems
- Promote and uphold health and safety standards in all tasks
Teamwork & Service
- Deliver excellent customer service with a professional, approachable attitude
- Work closely with colleagues and support wider team goals
- Contribute to a culture of safety, learning, and high standards
- Stay proactive with training and process improvements
What You'll Bring:
Essential
- Background in property maintenance or facilities roles
- Reliable, well-organised, with strong communication and time-management skills
- Confident with day-to-day building systems (basic electrics, plumbing, general repair)
- Experience using digital tools and systems for task tracking
- Friendly and professional with a focus on service
- Fluent in English and eligible to work in the UK
Desirable
- Relevant trade qualification (NVQ or similar) in plumbing, electrics, or general maintenance
- Experience with preventative maintenance scheduling
- First aid, fire marshal, or H&S certifications (or willingness to obtain)
Details:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-regarded residential brand, develop your skills, and build a long-term future in the facilities sector.
