We're recruiting for a Maintenance Operative for a student accommodation property in Cambridge. This is a hands-on role where you'll ensure the building is safe, well maintained, and welcoming for residents.

Part Timeor Full Time options available.

What you'll do

• Carry out routine checks (plant rooms, fire exits, panels, emergency lighting)
• Support with reactive and planned maintenance across plumbing, electrics, and general repairs
• Keep service areas tidy, secure, and safe
• Supervise contractors and ensure works meet required standards
• Complete compliance checks, including water testing and equipment monitoring
• Assist with student move-ins, move-outs, and seasonal changeovers

About you

• Practical maintenance knowledge (electrics, plumbing, carpentry)
• Professional, approachable, and customer-focused
• Organised with good problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and manage priorities
• Trade certifications or preventative maintenance experience a bonus
