THE COMPANY

Our client is one of the UK's leading fully integrated BTR operators, with over a decade of experience investing, designing, building and operating in-house. They currently operate 1,500 apartments across multiple UK cities with a further 2,000+ in the pipeline, and are growing through third-party management and acquisitions.

THE ROLE

An Operational Excellence Manager is needed to deliver projects, drive continuous improvement and ensure high standards across an operational BTR portfolio, as well as mobilising and onboarding new BTR and co-living sites. The role carries significant visibility including exposure to C-suite, Directors and investors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Scope and deliver operational projects including legislative compliance (Renters' Rights Act), new resident services and technology implementation
• Lead onboarding and mobilisation of new BTR and co-living schemes through to stabilisation
• Conduct audits, mystery shops and site inspections to assess operational standards and drive measurable NOI improvement
• Support the Senior Operations Manager on strategy, business planning and investor reporting
• KPIs: occupancy, void days, rental growth, gross to net, NOI, NPS, compliance

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Strong project management, compliance or auditing background, ideally in BTR, PBSA or residential
• Highly organised and process-driven with sharp attention to detail
• Analytical, with the ability to act on operational data
• Comfortable with property management systems, ideally Yardi
• Adaptable and at ease in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment
