We're partnering with one of the UK's leading purpose-built student accommodation providers to recruit a General Manager for a flagship site in Elephant & Castle, London.

This is a high-profile, hands-on leadership role where you'll combine commercial acumen with exceptional people leadership. Leading one of the company's key assets, you'll take full ownership of performance - from driving occupancy and revenue to delivering an outstanding resident experience and operational excellence.

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping both the commercial success of the building and the community within it, creating a place where students genuinely want to live.

What you'll be doing

• Take full operational ownership of the site, including facilities management, compliance, health & safety, and supplier relationships.
• Lead, inspire and develop your on-site team.
• Drive sales performance to maximise occupancy and exceed commercial targets in a competitive London market.
• Manage budgets and P&L, proactively identifying opportunities to grow revenue and optimise costs.
• Build strong relationships with universities, local partners, and businesses to enhance the property's visibility and reputation.
• Create and nurture a vibrant, inclusive student community where residents feel safe, supported, and proud to call home.

About you

• Proven GM experience within PBSA, BTR, or a similar residential environment.
• Strong commercial mindset with a track record of driving sales, lettings, and financial performance.
• Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to balance strategic priorities with day-to-day operational demands.
• A confident and engaging leader who can motivate teams, build culture, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
