The Company
We are working exclusively with a leading European real estate investment group to appoint a Head of Property (Hotels) to oversee their growing UK portfolio. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced property professional to take strategic ownership of a high-value, multi-site hospitality estate at a pivotal point in the business's UK expansion.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management, performance, and development of a diverse portfolio of UK hotel assets. From capital projects and refurbishments through to compliance, financial oversight, and stakeholder management, this is a genuinely broad and commercially significant position.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading portfolio and asset management strategy to maximise ROI across the hotel estate
- Overseeing capital expenditure projects, refurbishments, and redevelopments from inception to completion
- Collaborating with hotel operations teams to maintain asset value and ensure regulatory compliance
- Preparing and managing property budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
- Managing third-party contractors, consultants, and property managers
- Driving sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives across the portfolio
- Ensuring all properties meet legal, health and safety, and regulatory requirements
The Person
You will be an experienced, commercially astute property professional with a proven track record in senior multi-site roles. Specifically, we are looking for:
- 5+ years in a senior property or asset management role, ideally within hospitality or real estate
- Demonstrable experience managing hotel portfolios or large-scale real estate assets
- A hands-on approach to capital project delivery
- Strong financial acumen and confidence preparing business cases and managing budgets
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
- In-depth knowledge of UK property regulations and compliance
A background in the hospitality sector is advantageous, and relevant professional qualifications are welcomed though not essential.
