Document Controller
Residential Construction
A well-established residential developer is seeking a Document Controller to join its technical team supporting a number of active construction projects.
This position will suit someone with previous construction document control experience who is looking to join a busy project environment with long-term career progression opportunities.
Working closely with technical, design, commercial, and site teams, you will be responsible for managing project documentation, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring information is issued and tracked correctly throughout the project lifecycle.
The role is office-based with regular communication across project and site teams.

Duties Include

• Managing incoming and outgoing project documentation
• Maintaining drawing registers and document control systems
• Ensuring all documentation is correctly filed, updated, and distributed
• Monitoring revisions, approvals, and document workflows
• Supporting project teams with document submissions and reporting
• Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, and external stakeholders
• Assisting with project handover documentation
• Maintaining document compliance and audit trails across projects

Experience Required

• Previous experience in a Document Controller role within construction or property development
• Residential project experience would be beneficial
• Experience using document management systems such as Aconex, Asite, Viewpoint, or similar
• Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work across several live projects
• Confident communication skills and a proactive approach
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
