Summary
A leading residential developer is seeking an experienced Senior Building Safety Manager to support the delivery and oversight of building safety compliance across a large London portfolio.
This is an excellent opportunity for a building safety professional with strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act, higher-risk buildings, and residential compliance frameworks to join a well-established and forward-thinking organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on building safety compliance across occupied residential developments
• Support Accountable Person duties and ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022
• Manage and review safety case reports and building assessment documentation
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and regulators
• Oversee fire and structural safety risk management processes
• Ensure robust reporting, governance, and resident engagement procedures are in place
• Provide strategic guidance on building safety policies and operational improvements

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior building safety or fire safety role
• Strong understanding of the Building Safety Act and associated regulations
• Experience working with high-rise residential buildings / higher-risk buildings
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• NEBOSH Fire, IFE, CIOB, RICS or similar professional qualification preferred
