The Opportunity
We are working with an award-winning estate and letting agency, the largest family-owned independent agent in the South East of England, to recruit a Digital Marketing Executive for their in-house marketing team. Established in 1968, our client has built a reputation on exceptional service, trusted advice, and industry-leading marketing across an extensive branch network in Essex and Greater London.
Their marketing team plays a central role in keeping the business at the forefront of the property market, delivering campaigns, content, and digital strategies that generate real, measurable results. The team has been crowned winners of Best Estate Agency Marketing in Essex at the International Property Awards, and they are now looking for someone to help them keep raising the bar.
The Role
This is a hands-on role covering SEO, paid search, content, and day-to-day digital activity across the company's websites and channels. You will be responsible for driving visibility, traffic, and enquiries, and you will be someone who enjoys getting stuck in, testing ideas, and delivering results you can prove.
What You Will Be Involved In
SEO
- Carrying out keyword research and identifying new opportunities for growth
- Improving website structure, content, and internal linking
- Implementing on-page optimisation across all key pages
- Assisting with technical audits and resolving issues affecting performance
- Supporting local SEO across the branch network
Website and Content
- Updating the website with fresh copy, property guides, and area pages
- Writing and publishing blog content relevant to buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants
- Ensuring all web content is optimised for search from the outset
- Keeping branch pages, team profiles, and service pages accurate and up to date
- Identifying content opportunities based on search demand and market trends
- Supporting authority building through backlinks and brand mentions
Paid Search (PPC)
- Managing and optimising Google Ads campaigns
- Conducting keyword research and refining targeting to drive quality enquiries
- Writing ad copy and improving landing page relevance
- Monitoring spend, performance, and return on investment
- Reporting on campaign results and making data-led recommendations
Performance and Insights
- Tracking rankings, traffic, and enquiries across all digital channels
- Using tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, and SEO platforms
- Reporting on performance and identifying opportunities to improve
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in a hands-on digital marketing role
- Strong understanding of technical and on-page SEO
- Experience managing Google Ads and PPC campaigns
- Experience writing and publishing web content and blogs
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and updating website copy
- Knowledge of local SEO and multi-location businesses
- Comfortable implementing changes, not just recommending them
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- A confident communicator who can explain ideas clearly
Nice to Have
- Property sector experience
- Copywriting or content optimisation skills
- Experience with social media or email marketing
- Familiarity with Rightmove, Zoopla, or property portal management
