This is an opportunity for a talented and design-led Senior Interior Designer to join a collaborative team and play a key role in shaping landmark developments across the capital.
The Role
As Senior Interior Designer, you will lead projects from concept through to completion, bringing strong creative vision, technical expertise, and commercial awareness. You'll work closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to deliver exceptional interior environments that meet both design and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Design Leadership
- Lead interior design concepts from feasibility through to project completion.
- Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, material palettes, and design narratives.
- Maintain high design standards and consistency across multiple projects.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
Project Delivery
- Produce and oversee design packages, layouts, specifications, schedules, and drawing reviews.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and wider project teams.
- Review technical drawings and ensure design intent is maintained throughout delivery.
- Attend site visits and support the resolution of design-related issues.
FF&E
- Lead FF&E selection, specification, and supplier coordination.
- Manage material approvals, samples, and design libraries.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to balance design quality and project budgets.
Stakeholder Management
- Manage project programmes and key deliverables.
- Present design proposals to senior stakeholders.
- Support marketing initiatives, including sales suites, brochures, and CGI reviews.
- Assist with contractor coordination during construction phases.
Commercial Awareness
- Balance design aspirations with programme, budget, and commercial objectives.
- Contribute to cost planning and value engineering exercises.
- Identify opportunities to enhance project value through design.
About You
Experience
- 5+ years' experience within residential or mixed-use developments.
- Experience delivering projects within the UK market.
- Experience working with developers is advantageous.
- Exposure to PBSA or hospitality projects would be beneficial.
Skills
- Strong conceptual and technical design capabilities.
- Proven experience managing projects from concept to completion.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp (Revit advantageous).
- Excellent FF&E knowledge and supplier relationships.
- Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications
- Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
