An established and highly regarded independent construction consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its London team. The business delivers a wide range of commercial office new build and refurbishment projects for developers, landlords, investors and occupiers, providing project management, Employer's Agent and contract administration services from inception through to completion.
This is an office-based position offering the opportunity to lead the successful delivery of commercial office projects while working closely with Directors, clients, consultants and contractors.
The successful candidate will take ownership of multiple projects from feasibility through to completion, managing programmes, budgets, procurement strategies and project risks to ensure successful delivery. You will coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, administer construction contracts, chair project meetings and act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. The role also offers the opportunity to mentor junior team members and contribute to the continued growth of the consultancy.
To be considered, you should have proven consultancy-side project management experience delivering commercial office new build and refurbishment schemes. A strong understanding of JCT contracts, procurement, project programming and stakeholder management is essential. MRICS, MAPM or another relevant professional qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
