Personal Assistant / Office Manager
North London / Hertfordshire | Full Time | Office Based (some flexible working)
£50,000 to £60,000 DOE
Car and driving licence required due to office location
This isn't your average PA role. Our client is a privately held, design led real estate investment and development business with an eye for aesthetics as sharp as its eye for a deal. Specialists in asset value enhancement, regeneration and large scale transformation across London and the South East, this is a team that believes property should be beautiful as well as profitable, and that thinking differently isn't a tagline, it's how they operate.
They're now looking for a Personal Assistant / Office Manager who can match that energy. Someone who brings polish, creativity and genuine curiosity to the role, and who wants to be part of shaping how the brand looks, feels and shows up in the world, not just keeping the diary running on time.
This is a rare opportunity to sit right at the centre of a small, ambitious and design obsessed business, working closely with Directors on everything from high level executive support to brand and marketing content, while also getting genuine exposure to live land, planning and development projects.
This role isn't about waiting to be given tasks. It's about being proactive, embedding yourself as a true part of the business, and having the confidence to speak up and challenge decisions when needed.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing administrative support to Directors including correspondence, document creation and diary management
- Managing the day to day running of the office, ensuring it always reflects the brand's high standards and acting as the main point of contact for visitors and guests
- Playing an active role in shaping brand presence, assisting with marketing content such as LinkedIn posts and email campaigns, and keeping the company website fresh and current
- Overseeing office renewals, subscriptions, maintenance and supplier management
- Managing incoming and outgoing post, filing and general office administration
- Supporting Directors with personal admin such as insurance renewals and tax return information collation
- Providing land and planning project support, including coordination of acquisitions and planning applications
- Assisting with site meetings and liaising with landowners and consultants
- Supporting the management of company rental assets, including rent demands and tenancy queries
- Assisting the Finance Director with credit card coding, payment run administration, cashflow meetings and budget reviews
What we're looking for:
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar PA or Office Manager role
- A natural eye for detail, design and brand consistency
- Exceptional organisational and diary management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to help shape external content
- Confident, professional telephone manner
- Strong proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Entry level bookkeeping or basic accountancy knowledge
- Experience with Xero is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of the land, development or planning sector is a bonus but not required
- A full driving licence and access to a car, as the office is not easily accessible by public transport
What's on offer:
- Salary of £50,000 to £60,000 depending on experience
- Flexible working hours / Ad hoc and irregular WFH days considered depending on experience
- A genuinely creative, close knit environment where no two days look the same, and where your ideas and eye for detail will directly shape the business
