Lettings Advisor |Temporary, Full-Time
I'm working on behalf of a well-established operator in the purpose-built student accommodation sector to find a Lettings Advisor on a temporary basis to support their on-site team, particularly through peak intake season.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in sales, lettings, or customer-facing hospitality who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and enjoys building genuine relationships with customers. It would suit someone available for an immediate or short-notice start.
The Role
As Lettings Advisor, you'll own the full lettings journey - from first enquiry through to confirmed booking - playing a key role in driving occupancy and delivering an outstanding experience for prospective residents. You'll work closely with the on-site management team, as well as marketing, commercial, and finance functions, to support sales activity and hit occupancy targets during a busy period for the business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Proactively promoting the property through sales activity, marketing initiatives, and property viewings
- Managing enquiries from prospective residents via phone, email, website, and in person
- Liaising with prospective residents and their families to understand their needs and assess suitability
- Delivering engaging, informative property tours
- Converting enquiries into bookings via the CRM system, following up on incomplete applications to maximise conversion
- Owning the sales pipeline and keeping records accurate and up to date
- Acting as the key point of contact during the booking process, explaining tenancy terms, payments, deposits, and guarantor requirements
- Monitoring competitor activity and market conditions, and feeding insights back to management
- Building relationships with local partners and stakeholders to support occupancy and business development
- Supporting property events, open days, and external recruitment fairs
- Driving resident retention through rebooking and renewal campaigns
- Producing regular sales and performance reports
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a sales, lettings, or customer-facing hospitality/property role - ideally within student accommodation, residential lettings, or hospitality
- A track record of converting enquiries into bookings and meeting sales or occupancy targets
- Experience delivering property viewings and managing a customer journey end to end
- Confidence using CRM or booking systems
- Strong sales and customer service skills, with excellent verbal and written communication
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and follow-up discipline
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable managing a busy pipeline
- Comfortable presenting to groups and representing a brand at events
- A resilient, adaptable, can-do attitude suited to a fast-paced, seasonal sales environment
The Details
- Hours: 37.5 per week
- Contract: Temporary, full-time, with the possibility of extension or a permanent offer for the right candidate
- Start: Immediate / short notice preferred
