Project Manager - Special Projects Division

Location: London & Home Counties
Salary: Up to £120,000 + Comprehensive Package

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established, award-winning main contractor within its growing Special Projects division.

This role offers the chance to lead a diverse portfolio of technically challenging projects, delivering high-quality schemes across refurbishment, remediation, structural alterations, fit-out, fire safety works, façade improvements, and complex works within occupied residential and mixed-use environments.

Working closely with clients, consultants and internal teams, you will take full responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to successful completion, ensuring delivery on programme, within budget and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of multiple Special Projects valued from approximately £2m-£30m.
• Manage programmes, budgets, procurement and commercial performance.
• Coordinate design development and technical solutions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors and consultants.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
• Identify and manage project risks, implementing practical solutions where required.
• Drive programme performance while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.

About You

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a recognised main contractor.
• Strong background delivering refurbishment, remediation, structural alteration or complex construction projects.
• Experience working within occupied buildings is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially aware with a strong understanding of project delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams within fast-paced environments.
• Degree qualified or equivalent, with relevant construction qualifications.
