Overview

Due to a seasonal spike in tenancy end dates around 31 July, our client is experiencing a compressed void turnaround workload from late July through August/September. They are seeking experienced temporary maintenance/handymen to support this peak period, with the first two weeks of August expected to be the busiest.

Role Details

• Position: Temporary Handyman
• Duration: Flexible - a few days, a few weeks, or up to two months, depending on workload and fit. Peak demand expected in early August.
• Potential for Permanence: Client is open to temp-to-perm arrangements for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Reactive maintenance across residential properties
• Painting and decorating
• Basic void turnaround work (preparing vacated properties for re-letting)
• Appliance installation

Candidate Requirements

• Genuine, hands-on trade experience - not a general DIY/handyman skillset
• Prior experience with high-volume void turnarounds, ideally within residential buildings/apartments, is strongly preferred
• Reliable, professional, and able to work efficiently under time pressure during peak periods
