An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate or Assistant Project Manager to join an in-house design and construction team delivering prestigious, high-end developments. This role offers hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals on complex, design-led projects.
You'll play a key role on the restoration of a Grade II* listed country house in Wimbledon, including the refurbishment of the main house and coach house, new forecourt extensions, basement works and extensive landscaping. There may also be opportunities to contribute to luxury residential developments in the South of France.
The Role
Working closely with the Technical Manager, you'll gain exposure to every stage of the design and construction process. You'll assist with reviewing drawings and specifications, coordinating technical information, resolving design queries, monitoring construction quality, maintaining project records and as-built information, and liaising with architects, consultants, contractors and specialist subcontractors. You'll also help track project progress and ensure site teams always have access to the latest construction information.
About You
You'll hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline. Previous placement or industry experience with a consultant or contractor would be beneficial but isn't essential.
You should have good technical knowledge, an understanding of project planning, strong Excel skills and excellent organisational and communication abilities. Most importantly, you'll be enthusiastic, proactive and eager to develop your career while working on some truly exceptional projects.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad project exposure within a collaborative team, working on unique developments where quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail are at the heart of every project.
