New Homes Sales Advisor (Temporary with Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)
Location: Littlehampton
Salary:
- Temporary: Competitive day rate
- Permanent equivalent: £30,000 basic (up to £34,000 DOE)
- OTE circa £35,000+, plus two annual bonus payments
Working Pattern:
5 days per week, including weekends (typically Thursday to Monday, although there is flexibility depending on site requirements).
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established development in Littlehampton, East Sussex.
This requirement has come about due to a long-standing Sales Advisor leaving for family commitments - not because of performance or restructuring - which speaks volumes about the stability and culture within the team.
Initially this is a temporary assignment, however the Sales Manager, has confirmed that if the right person joins the business there is genuine potential for the position to become permanent.
About the Development
A well-established development entering a later phase of construction, with a consistent flow of visitors and purchasers.
The development attracts a broad range of buyers including:
- Families
- Professional couples
- Home movers
- Buyers relocating into the area
The homes sit within a higher price bracket, so applicants should be confident delivering an exceptional customer journey and building strong relationships throughout the sales process.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing the customer journey from initial enquiry through to reservation and beyond, ensuring every purchaser receives a first-class experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming and qualifying visitors
- Conducting development and show home tours
- Managing the full sales process
- Achieving reservations and sales targets
- Liaising with solicitors, mortgage advisers and the wider build team
- Maintaining CRM records and customer communications
- Ensuring the marketing suite and presentation remain to an exceptional standard
Our client is open to a variety of backgrounds and believes successful Sales Advisors come from diverse experiences.
Applicants should ideally have:
- Previous New Homes Sales experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisation and self-management
- Confidence working independently
- A customer-first approach
- Flexibility to work weekends
Applicants located within a reasonable commute of Littlehampton would be preferred.
Why this role?
One of the biggest selling points of this opportunity is the manager you'll be working for.
For someone who has built a career with this developer, having joined almost ten years ago as a Trainee Sales Advisor before progressing through Sales Advisor and Senior Sales Advisor roles into Sales Manager.
Their own progression demonstrates the investment our client makes in its people.
Despite being one of the UK's largest housebuilders, the business has a much more personal feel than many competitors. Sales Advisors are trusted to manage their own developments, given genuine autonomy, and supported with flexibility rather than micromanagement.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking not just for their next assignment, but potentially for a long-term career with a well-respected developer.
