Senior Site Manager - South London

I'm currently working on a Senior Site Manager opportunity for a well-established Main Contractor, with a major new-build scheme coming forward in South London.

The project is currently going through the PCSA/Gateway process, with the main contract due to be in place from September. It will be a large-scale residential high-rise development, with demolition works expected to run from November through to July before the main build progresses.

As Senior Site Manager, you'll be working as the No.2 on the project, reporting into the Project Manager and taking a strong lead across the site team. They're looking for someone who is a well-rounded Senior Site Manager.

The role will suit someone who enjoys being hands-on with the build team, is confident managing site operations and subcontractors, and can take ownership of day-to-day delivery while working closely with the Project Manager.

What we're looking for:

• Experienced Senior Site Manager with a strong residential background
• Ideally experience working on large-scale or high-rise schemes
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience with externals, groundworks, frames etc
• Well-rounded across site operations and build delivery
• Ideally experience working for a Tier 2 contractor
• Strong communicator with good subcontractor and consultant management skills
• Someone who is hands-on, organised and takes ownership

The client is looking for someone to start around mid-October.
