Night Receptionist - Luxury Serviced Apartments / Residential Estate, Central London
We're working with a prestigious residential estate in Central London to find an experienced, guest-focused Receptionist to join their Front of House team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in hospitality or serviced apartments who thrives in a varied, fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
About the Role
As Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for residents, members, guests, contractors and visitors, delivering a warm, professional welcome and ensuring every customer journey is seamless. Reporting to the Reception Manager, you'll play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and interact with new and existing residents, members and guests, supporting the wider operations team
- Manage queries, incidents and complaints, liaising across departments to resolve issues
- Maintain and host the reception and lobby area to the highest standard of presentation
- Own enquiries through the inbox management system from start to finish
- Inspect apartments ahead of new resident or guest move-ins
- Greet and induct new residents, including home demonstrations of apartment and estate facilities
- Host VIP clients for short-let stays
- Conduct viewings and show-rounds outside standard business hours when required
- Act as a point of contact for day-to-day resident queries in the absence of departmental managers
- Coordinate between residents and the facilities team
- Support the events team with meet-and-greet and conferencing cover
- Assist the communications team with bulk emails/notifications regarding building issues (lift, water, heating outages)
- Carry out estate-wide walkarounds to ensure the property is safe, clean and tidy
- Support the security team during major emergencies, following company procedures
- Support the tenancy management team, including Right to Rent checks and key releases
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of on-site amenities (fitness club, spa, F&B outlet, co-working spaces, etc.)
- Liaise with the security team to ensure processes are correctly logged in the Daily Occurrence Log
- Provide cover in daily/weekly departmental update meetings in the Reception Manager's absence
What We're Looking For
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, polished manner
- Strong customer service track record, ideally within hospitality, serviced apartments or Build to Rent (BTR)
- Confident problem-solver with lateral thinking skills
- Able to plan effectively and work well under own initiative
- Comfortable acting as a role model for excellent service delivery
