Project Manager - New Buidl Residential

I'm currently working with a well-established main contractor who are looking to bring an experienced Project Manager into the team for a new residential scheme in South London.

The project is a large-scale residential RC Frame development, comprising multiple blocks with demolition works commencing shortly and the main construction programme running from early 2027.

This is a No.1 / No.2 role, working across the wider project rather than purely overseeing site delivery. They are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of construction, design and technical delivery, and who is comfortable taking ownership across all three areas.

Ideally, you'll have come from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor background and have experience delivering large-scale residential or similarly complex schemes.

The role:

• Lead the delivery of a major residential RC Frame development from pre-construction through to completion
• Take responsibility across construction, design and technical delivery
• Manage and coordinate the wider project team, consultants and subcontractors
• Work closely with commercial and design teams to ensure the project is delivered to programme, quality and budget
• Oversee key project milestones from the early stages through to completion
• Provide leadership to the site team and drive the project forward

What they're looking for:

• Proven experience as a No.1 or No.2 Project Manager on a large-scale construction project
• Strong main contractor background, ideally Tier 2
• Experience across construction, design and technical delivery
• Residential experience is highly desirable, particularly RC Frame / large-scale schemes
• Comfortable managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A track record of taking projects through to successful completion

Salary: £100,000
