Part-Qualified Finance Associate - Real Estate Investment &amp; Development London | £50,000 + benefits | Permanent, full-timeAbout the opportunityOur client, a growing real estate investment and development business, is looking for an analytical, commercially minded part-qualified Finance Associate to join its strategic finance team. Reporting to the Associate Director, you'll play a central role in building the business's investment, appraisal and valuation functions. This is an important time to join: the business is expanding its portfolio and moving from self-funded development towards third-party financing.This role focuses on modelling. If you enjoy building robust, scalable financial models that shape real investment decisions, this role offers genuine scope and visibility.What you'll be doing<ul dir="ltr"><li>Preparing and improving development appraisal models across multiple projects, and tracking live project data against budgets to report ROI throughout the development lifecycle</li><li>Supporting stabilised appraisals and investment modelling, including research into market and operational metrics, and liaising with agents and external advisers</li><li>Helping to build a valuations function from the ground up, including quarterly portfolio valuation reporting and analysis of rents, yields and asset performance</li><li>Developing a centralised asset management model, along with KPI dashboards that give clear visibility of portfolio performance</li><li>Preparing asset memorandums for banking partners, acquisitions and quarterly reporting</li><li>Maintaining and improving utilities benchmarking and forecasting in partnership with the management accounts team</li><li>Providing ad hoc modelling and analysis support across the business</li></ul>What we're looking forEssential:<ul dir="ltr"><li>Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)</li><li>Advanced Excel skills, including complex financial modelling and data analysis</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels</li><li>High attention to detail and strong organisation</li></ul>Desirable:<ul dir="ltr"><li>Experience in the real estate sector (ideally 4+ years), with an understanding of multiple asset classes</li><li>Experience in valuations and/or development appraisal (ideally 2+ years)</li><li>Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools</li><li>A strong academic background</li></ul>Apply now!
