About the opportunity
This is a small, quality-led developer building new homes with bespoke, high-end finishes. You'll take charge of their 8-plot development in Bromsgrove and see it through the final stages, up to handover and completion in December.
The contract is around two months to start with. If it goes well, there is a strong chance it becomes a permanent role on the developer's next project. That is likely to be a bespoke six-bedroom new build home in Hagley.

Services are being connected now. Driveways and road finishes are still to be completed.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the site through to completion in December
- Coordinate trades and subcontractors across first fix, second fix, decoration and external works
- Manage services connections and the completion of driveways and road finishes
- Run snagging and get plots ready for handover to a high standard
- Keep quality high, with close attention to bespoke and high-end finishes
- Maintain health and safety standards and site records
- Report progress, programme and any issues back to the developer
About you
You'll have new build housing experience and an eye for quality, backed by strong technical and general building knowledge.
Essential
- Site Manager experience on new build homes
- Strong technical and general building knowledge
- Experience taking plots through to snagging and handover
- Able to start immediately
Desirable
- Experience with bespoke, high-end finishes
- A background with smaller or boutique developers
In the developer's experience, the right person isn't usually coming straight from a large-volume (100+ plot) PLC housebuilder. The role could also suit an experienced Assistant Site Manager who is ready to step up and meets the requirements above.
