deverellsmith is partnering with a respected commercial property management business to find an Assistant Client Accountant. This role suits someone who enjoys the AP/AR side of property accounting and wants a stable, hands-on role where they can own their work.

The role
Reporting to the Senior Client Accountant, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable cycle across your own portfolio of office buildings. This includes:

• Processing supplier invoices end to end, from checking and coding through to approval
• Preparing supplier payment runs and reconciling supplier statements
• Raising quarterly rent, insurance and recharge demands, and posting and allocating occupier receipts
• Chasing arrears in line with credit control procedures and producing aged debt reports
• Preparing monthly client bank reconciliations and supporting client reporting

About you
You'll have solid experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable or credit control, ideally within property or client accounting. You'll enjoy transactional work, take pride in accuracy, and be comfortable dealing with suppliers, occupiers and property managers. Above all, you'll be someone who's happy making this role their own for the long term.
