Client Overview
A global real estate business focusing on creating vibrant spaces across prime locations required specialised marketing expertise. The company's portfolio spans commercial, retail, and mixed-use properties, with a significant presence in both the UK and DACH regions, requiring an experienced professional to effectively position their assets.
The Challenge
The client needed an experienced Asset Marketing Manager for a maternity cover position with very specific requirements. The role demanded flexibility regarding office presence due to its project-based nature. The ideal candidate needed to possess both B2B and B2C marketing experience spanning the UK and DACH regions, with fluency in both English and German, creating a particularly niche talent pool.
Our Approach
We implemented a comprehensive strategy to identify and secure the right candidate:
Talent Mapping: We conducted extensive research to identify professionals with the rare combination of UK/DACH experience and bilingual capabilities, mapping the market to uncover both active and passive candidates with proven track records in real estate asset marketing.
Consultative Process: Working closely with the client's leadership team, we gained deep insights into their culture, specific project requirements, and flexibility needs. This allowed us to effectively communicate the unique opportunity to potential candidates and accurately assess culture fit.
Talent Advisory: We provided strategic guidance on market conditions, salary benchmarks, and how to structure the role to attract top talent willing to take on a maternity cover position, focusing on emphasising project ownership and visibility.
Leadership
Our senior consultant led this specialised search. With their background in Property, Hospitality and Account Management, they leveraged sector expertise and a relationship-focused approach to identify candidates who could seamlessly integrate into the client's team. Their understanding of the property sector enabled precise candidate evaluation against technical and cultural requirements.
