We're recruiting an experienced and confident Customer Service Advisor to join a fantastic, purpose-built student accommodation site in Leicester.

You'll be a visible, approachable presence across the building, delivering exceptional customer service while confidently managing the day-to-day challenges of a busy residential community.
This role requires someone who can build positive relationships with residents, remain calm under pressure, and confidently deal with a wide range of situations, including resolving complaints, addressing anti-social behaviour, and supporting the safety and wellbeing of residents.
<h3>About the Role</h3>
This varied front-of-house position combines customer service, administration, and active site engagement in a busy student residential environment.
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Deliver a professional, welcoming front-of-house reception service.</li>
<li>Provide outstanding customer service to residents, visitors, contractors and partners.</li>
<li>Build strong relationships with residents through regular engagement across the building.</li>
<li>Handle enquiries, complaints and maintenance issues promptly and professionally.</li>
<li>Confidently manage challenging situations, including anti-social behaviour and resident disputes, escalating where appropriate.</li>
<li>Conduct welfare checks, room inspections and incident reporting.</li>
<li>Assist with viewings and promote the accommodation and resident services.</li>
<li>Manage parcel deliveries and reception administration.</li>
<li>Identify hazards, respond appropriately to alarm activations, and support emergency procedures.</li>
<li>Carry out health &amp; safety, compliance and operational checks.</li>
<li>Maintain high presentation standards across reception, communal lounges, lift lobbies and hallways.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with site management, maintenance and operational teams to ensure an exceptional resident experience.</li>
</ul>
<h3>About You</h3>
<ul>
<li>Previous experience in a customer-facing role within hospitality, residential, student accommodation, retail or front-of-house.</li>
<li>A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive resident experiences.</li>
<li>Confident, resilient and able to deal professionally with challenging situations and difficult conversations.</li>
<li>Calm under pressure with excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.</li>
<li>Well-presented, approachable and professional.</li>
<li>Proactive, organised and happy to take ownership of issues from start to finish.</li>
<li>Good IT skills and strong attention to detail.</li>
<li>A supportive team player with empathy, professionalism and a can-do attitude.</li>

<h3>What's on Offer</h3>
<ul>
<li>Full-time: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm.</li>
<li>Seasonal flexibility: During the busy summer period, the role will include working Saturdays, with a day off in lieu during the week, before returning to the standard Monday-Friday schedule.</li>
<li>Salary of &pound;25,757 per annum.</li>

Customer Service Advisor

We're working with a leading and rapidly expanding provider of student accommodation who are seeking a Client Accountant to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the business at a time of significant growth. Due to continued expansion of the portfolio and the acquisition of new assets, this is a newly created role that will play a key part in supporting the organisation's growing property portfolio. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their finance and accounting career in a commercial and fast-paced environment, gaining exposure to a large portfolio of assets and working closely with both clients and senior stakeholders.
<h3>The Role</h3>
You will play a key part in delivering accurate, timely financial reporting and driving performance across a portfolio of student accommodation assets. Responsibilities include:
<ul>
<li>Managing a portfolio of properties from a finance perspective, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements</li>
<li>Preparing monthly and quarterly management packs, including full P&amp;L forecasts, variance analysis and commentary</li>
<li>Developing high-quality client reports and investment summaries to support decision-making</li>
<li>Partnering with Operations and Commercial teams on annual budgets, strategy, and performance improvement</li>
<li>Supporting audits, completing funding requests, and producing cashflow forecasts</li>
<li>Working with site teams to provide financial support and guidance, ensuring processes run smoothly</li>
<li>Assisting with onboarding and integration of new sites into the accounting system</li>
<li>Producing financial models and analysis to aid strategic planning, including scenario analysis and forecasting</li>
<li>Liaising with clients, senior managers and external stakeholders to respond to queries and provide insight</li>
</ul>
<h3>Person Profile / Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>Qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA (or equivalent), or demonstrable progress towards completion of a recognised professional accountancy qualification</li>
<li>Proven analytical ability, with strong financial modelling experience</li>
<li>Advanced Excel skills, including building models from scratch (P&amp;L, scenario analysis, overhead reporting)</li>
<li>Experience working with large data sets and producing accurate results under tight deadlines</li>
<li>Excellent organisational and communication skills, able to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders</li>
<li>Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving</li>
<li>Strong team player, adaptable to changing requirements and confident working across multiple departments</li>
<li>Previous experience within property, real estate, or multi-site operations would be advantageous but not essential</li>
</ul>
